How To Remove “Related Videos” from Embeded Youtube Videos

Ok, so… This week, I have had the same thing come up with several of the students in the Paid to Play Academy. People keep saying something like, “When I embed a YouTube video on my blog, it plays fine, but when the video ends, there are links to several other peoples’ videos there. Is there a way I can get rid of those?”

The answer is YES and it is very SIMPLE to do:

Step 1 – Go you the YouTube video you want to embed.

Step 2 – Click the “Embed” button

Step 4 – Copy the embed code and paste in into your blog post.

This simple 4 step process will allow you to embed YouTube videos without the related videos showing at the end.

Hope you are well, and thanks for posting answers to questions. Do you know by any chance how to remove the suggestions that appear after the video has played in youtube. Not an embedded youtube clip on another site, but in Youtube itself?

    Many thanks.

When we click the embed button for any videos On our YouTube channel we are not given the option to ‘show suggested videos when the video finishes’. So currently, when we embed our videos elsewhere, we automatically get video recommendations at the end. We do not want this. Why can we not disable this on our channel? Is there something hidden in settings that I need to activate?

I followed your instructions including adding ?rel=0 at the end of the embed code. Automatic playing of other related videos has stopped. HOWEVER, there is still grid of pictures/links for a bunch of other videos at the end of the movie. How do I take that ridout?
